The Elvaen Dietary Code
  • Bowls and Plates are not to be any larger than your two hands cupped together or laid side by side.
  • Drinking glasses are to be as follows... water vessels are to be no greater in size than two forefingers tall and two thumbs in width, flavored liquids are to be no more than one forefinger in height and one thumb span in width.
  • Edible items which have been found to inconspicuously poison the body, or sometimes the mind, and are not to be considered for the Elvaen dietary consumption, such as those having undergone fermentation, finely ground grains, or poisoness or otherwise mind altering items.
  • Any animal to be consumed by those Elvaen, must-not be of amphibian, insect, or of those beasts which give live birth, otherwise understood as mammilian - Or of intelligence, otherwise understood as sentient beings.
  • Consumption of any animal or animal byproduct mustn't exceed the average of 4 ounces daily, or one hands width and length of an average sized person.
  • Only the flesh of meat, and no fatty or connective tissue, will be used for internal consumption.
  • Remaining tissues of an animal used for consumption, will be immediately disposed of by fire.
  • Any drink having undergone fermentation is to be used only for skin care, scientific requirements, or given to ingest for medical purposes as held in prescription from a Medic. Any regularly prohibited Food, including that of an animal, is to used and held in distribution only for medical purposes. Such items will be carefully held in distribution.
Elvaen Code of Dress
  • No amulets, pendants, bracelets, earrings, or otherwise decorative items may be present in the public view which contains any emblem or design, other than that which has been held in design to signify Elvaen Proper or symbolizing that which is found in nature, such as a waterfall, falling star, leaf, Luna, etcetera.
  • When a head has been removed of its hair a covering may be used. The covering may be decorative in the following manners... A jeweled piece with strands which hang similar to hair, a scarf or other wrap of any size in the acceptable public raiment colors.
  • All public costumes are to cover all skin with the optional exception of the head, neck and collar bone, knees and shins, ankles and feet, forearms and elbows, hands and wrist.
  • All public costumes are to maintain the Elvaen colors of black which may contain a hint of gray, green which may contain the softest hues of aqua or yellow, and purple which may contain a hint of ruby or blue.
  • Mammary glands and testicles should be held firmly in place, but not so much that the blood cannot circulate as necessary.
The Elvaen Dictionary Code
  • All those Elvaen must possess a copy of the Elvaen Dictionary. And this is the only Dictionary which those Elvaen will use. There will not be a second or optional Dictionary held in creation or existence for those Elvaen.
  • No individual may subtract, connect, or shorten any words found in the Elvaen Dictionary.
  • Only upon High Council meetings may a word be held in addition to the dictionary, but no other alterations are to be made even by them.
  • Any word usage that may be held in addition to the Elvaen Dictionary, must not be one of a duplicate form of another word already placed therein.
  • There must not already be in existence within the dictionary a definition which is the same as a word chosen to be entered within, or an alternative definition held in addition onto an already existing word.
  • Words held in addition to the Elvaen Dictionary must not be performed any more often than one word for every two years of Elvaen.
  • All new words held in addition to the dictionary must be placed under thorough distribution throughout Elvaen Proper.
The Elvaen Code on Weaponry
Weaponry changes from time to time and while some may feel discomfort with the accessibility, it herein is firmly established that its an individual rather than the tool which brings forward this same discomfort.
  • All Elvaen are to perform the practice of making traditional weaponry, such as staffs, whips, pistols, etcetera. All other forms of weaponry are optional.
  • Weapons are not to be used by an Elvaen against another Elvaen, unless by the Sentry in practice with one another or when in the service of protection and all other options are held in exhaustion.
  • When an emotional evaluation shows signs of instability, the person who has been held in question must undergo a form of rehabilitation or freely release possession of any such tools without the option of re-creation. However, if no signs of instability appear this person may continue to possess this weaponry and no longer will be held in question.
The Elvaen Code on Entertainment
All arts are acceptable with the exception of Behavioral Theater and dance... or hypnotic aspects of any design, be it on paper or in the viewing screen of an electronic piece of equipment.
  • All arts will remain as hobbies and will never be held as a career option.
  • Organized sound will be that of music and song. However, song will never be composed of words or sentences.
  • Motion or still pictures will only be used to illustrate a situation, animal, plant life, or surroundings.
  • Sounds transferred through electronics are to be used only for immediate communication.
Code of Ownership
Elvaen respects very few aspects of ownership but does understand where certain items of ownership are necessary, however Elvaen does not accept ownership as or of the following...
  • Those Who have fallen into debt to another through the means of attainment of possessions or services.
  • A living individual purchased by another through the attainment of possessions or services, or by a unit of token trade.
  • Any contract, or other type of binding agreement, held between two or more individuals, communities, or organizations.
  • One or more adults who hold onto a child for any period longer than held in indication by the infant child care chart.
  • Any animal or other beast held by an individual for any longer than any healing period which may be deemed as necessary.
  • The action of placing an individual name, that does not include the total of the community of Elvaen, on any item of craft, sound, written work, etcetera.
The Elvaen Code of Possessions
  • All Elvaen are to keep an Elvaen dictionary, a copy of the Elvaen Eprodex, an Elvaen vestige in personal script, and a Nexus. These four items are central to the Elvaen lifestyle.
  • The Vestige must include everything necessary to the book keeper and must be as basic and in depth as possible. Such items considered are food and drink recipes, costume designs, lighting source recipes, game design and elements, and all basic information to create such items from their base up.
  • The Nexus measurements are personal to an individuals arms length, from the tip of the middle finger to the end of the arm found just before the shoulder joint. The Nexus measurements must be no greater in size than two arms length by one arms length, and one arms length deep... From outer edge to outer edge.
  • A Nexus must be capable of containing all that one owns with the exception of bedding and some basic furnishings. When a Nexus begins to flow over, choices of importance must be made, ridding all that which no longer fits within.
  • The Nexus is a common unit of measure so that possessions do not overtake Elvaen. On occasion an Elvaen may be held in request to check their belongings for overflow. This action is referred to as a Quazar.
  • Those belonging to an Anissa, must also live by the standard of a singular Nexus as opposed to two separate ones.
Code of Perfectionism
Perfectionism is one method to Aid in lowering consumption and overindulgence. All Elvaen will do what they can to promote perfectionism of self. Life is not a speed contest, nor should the items held in creation while serving within, be considered as such.
  • It should take at least one full year at several hours daily, for even the smallest item to be considered as complete.
  • Each individuals perfect outcome will differ from one person to another.
  • Perfectionism must be slowly introduced to all Elvaen individuals, and performed on a separate basis, as to not upset the mind of the person who may struggle with their creations while noticing anothers. For some, many times the hands are not capable of translating what is held in the mind, and the practice of perfectionism can be upsetting to emotions held within. These individuals require gentle aid in order to reach their potentials.
  • With perfection should come pride in accomplishments, in self, and in capabilities.
Code on Retirement
There are times in which an individual within a community goes under difficult periods because of body degeneration, serious physical impairments, or mental fatigue. When these things arise this individual must be placed under a retirement program for a small period of time or for the duration of their remaining life.
  • When one is placed under retirement they must first receive an extensive period of rest ranging from a few months to several years.
  • Following the rest period those placed under retirement must slowly be reintroduced to task activities. Some activities will be easier for an individual than other tasks. Once a task is discovered by both the individual and the Council, this person will serve within this career area.
  • When reintroduced to a work schedule, the individual who has been placed under retirement, will require smaller periods of time in which to task... Building up the endurance little by little.
Code of Shasar
There is only one celebratory period recognized by those Elvaen, the Shasar. This is the ending of one year moving into the beginning of the next.
  • Many events occur during this period of time which include but are in no manner held in limitation to, the Royal Games, Sentry Games, and Anissas.
  • Food and drink may be brought, however no one food or drink, or sets thereof, will be established in recognition of celebrations.
  • There will not be any one type of entertainment established in recognition of the Shasar.
  • When there are several events that take place during the celebration, no one event should overshadow another, each should receive equal recognition.
Rotation of Service
  • In order to remain refreshed and humbled, all those Elvaen must serve in each aspect of the community over a period no longer than two years and no more than twenty hours in each section.
  • Rotation of Service is designed for both the community and the individual within the refreshment program. This is a time in which one may choose to create or repair something for themselves, or if there is no relevance to the self in a particular section will use the opportunity toward the service of the community.
  • Service assignments must take place every ten years following the completion of prior service, with the beginning of such service following community placement from the Elesee.
  • The Rotation of Service must not inhibit chosen careers and will be scheduled by the Local Council, and then approved by the one to enter retraining.
The Elvaen Chateau Code
  • All units must be held in connection in some form, though designs may differ from one community to the next.
  • Each Chateau must be identical within, containing only three separate rooms with a total of 360 feet of living space, for the sleeping area, the latrine, and sitting area, containing good natural lighting and fresh air.
  • Basic furnishings consist of... bed, costume cabinet, dry food storage cabinet, food preparation surface, food preparation sink, two heating elements which are not built into anything, two cooking vessels, toilet, shower, sink for the latrine, mirror, desk with chair, and a comfortable seating area with a table. These items are not to be considered as part of a Nexus.
