Explanation

A Nexus is basically a good sized storage trunk, about 4 feet in length. This trunk holds all of your personal possessions, aside from a few household furnishings, and of course general transportation. All Elvaen maintain a Nexus as a gauge of possession overflow. Once every few years, all items within the household are placed into the large trunk. Those things that can't make it in are cast out of the home in any desired manner (donation or trash).

Generally, each person maintains the Nexus below three quarters filled, as growth and gathering are inevitable for our specie. It can be a difficult action, to maintain a Nexus, as many times even when don't appreciate something there may be an emotional attachment. Coming to terms with what you should keep for a clean future, and what you should toss aside can take many hours and even days during a quatzar.

The Anissa Formality to be met regarding the Nexus, is to combine both persons belongings into one trunk. The overall Nexus size doesn't change, which is the difficulty to overcome. Generally, a third party (friend/family to neither) is present to ensure fair/equal Nexus inclusion, as one may run rough-shod over the other (through various techniques).
