The Balls will have seven of one type, six of another, five of another, four of another, three of another, two of another, and one of another. The one serving in the Royal Position will be the individual to make this choice, and this choice is to remain a secret.
  • Once the Balls have been held in selection by the Royalty, they should be covered in different colors, for the different stars, so they may be easily identified during placement. The wrapping should remain on the balls throughout the first parts of the games.
  • A Sentry must be in place at each deposit of the Balls, and two must be in location at the quiz tent. The Sentry are to aid in keeping the game play equal, prevent fights from developing over the possession of the balls, and to enforce the unusual first come first serve rule.
  • A tent is to be set up for those to enter within and answer a question during the quiz round. This is the first battle to maintain their possession of the ball in which they have found, and to receive a basic clue to aid in their locating another ball. however, anyone entered into the game may enter the tent in order to claim a ball which another individual may have lost during the quiz, but they must successfully answer five questions instead of one.
  • While in the tent the colored wrapping must remain on the balls and are not to be tampered with in any manner. Also the quiz questions should be fun and general, without requiring strict knowledge of any one career aspect.
  • The participants must be given two bags in which to carry their Serpent Orbs, one for those balls which haven't passed through the quiz tent and the other for those identified as having made it through the question round.
  • Participants are not to possess any more than one of each color, or type of ball, throughout the question round. Those attending to the quiz tent are to maintain a record of this information.
  • When all the balls have been held in location and qualified by the quiz tent, and directly before the battle rounds begin, the participants are to uncover their balls to learn of which one, or ones, are in their possession.
  • All battle round games are to generally last no longer than fifteen minutes for each game of play. These games may be anything, from games of chance to physical games, but not a quiz type of game.
  • These games may be from suggestions given to the Royalty already in service anytime before the Royal Games begin by method of a suggestion box found in the Elvaen Library.
  • Battle rounds will be played until one team has in their possession all seven types of Balls. A one star, a two star, a three star, a four star, a five star, a six star, and a seven star ball.
